The Korean Association of Contemporary Art and Photography creates discourses on contemporary art at plural borders between "modern/contemporary," "art," and "photography." The KACAP is a platform for those seeking the humanistic depth and imagination and artistic maturity of contemporary art that creatively combines art and photo-based technology such as video, film, and digital art. The KACAP seeks to expand perspectives on art and society, and critical thinking by bringing together various generations. To this end, experts from a variety of fields in the world, including artists, scholars, critics, curators, and administrators, will interact with each other and with the public without walls, revitalize theories and practices, and communicate with the world.
